Some old news that I somehow missed - horror porn movie shot on the capus at Ball State University. Is there a better name for a college thats the site of a porn shoot than Ball State?

Once you pick that location, the movie kind of writes itself.

What good is going to a naked party in college if you are going to get asked to leave if you start making out with a girl. Um, your all naked. Isn't that really the point?

"Having sex in the stacks of Butler Library is one of the ultimate Columbia experiences," said Miriam Datskovsky, the sex columnist for The Spectator, the student newspaper.

"There's very little dating. It's predominately a hookup scene," said the 21-year-old, a senior from an Orthodox Jewish background who writes the "Sexplorations" column.

"Everything is so much easier and so much quicker - you go to dinner and then have sex," she added.

A USC Women's Studies professor posted nude pics of herself on her personal website.

"The couple of conservative USC students who have dedicated themselves to attacking me clearly grew frustrated at my refusal to react to them, so they upped the ante and contacted the media about my nudie pics. One station bit, and voila, we have a scandal,” she wrote on her Web site.

The pics, are currently part of her photoset on Flikr. There isn't anything erotic about them. Huge nipples though.

The case for why porn needs to be part of sex ed. Their specific desire is to develop new classes that look at the impact on porn in society rather than integrating it into existing sexuality classes.

I suppose this is a fine idea, but the possibility of the class getting extremely political (depending on the professor).

So a university co-ed performs a strip-tease in a dorm room, gets photographed, and the pictures hit the web. Nothing out of the ordinary there.

Then the university administration gets involved to make sure the girl wasn't forced to do this, and that she knew about the pictures. Again, pretty standard stuff. But after the girl told the administration that is was all OK and planned, why doesn't the university go away and mind its own business instead of saying crap like this:

"What's different in this case is that these pictures are going all over the world. With the Internet and personal blogs, pictures can be circulated very quickly, and I'm not sure how we would regulate students' blogs and websites even if we wanted to," said Grindrod.

"If there had been any coercion, there absolutely would have been repercussions. We do plan to talk to the other (male) students involved and continue to review the situation. It's still early in the game for us to have figured out how to proceed."

Except there wasn't any coercion and you already know that. So go away. And don't even think about regulating students' blogs.

The University of Pennsylvania wised up and dropped their disciplinary actions against the student that took a picture of 2 other students having sex thru their dorm room window.

An atheist group on the UT San Antonio campus was giving people porn for turning in their religious literature.

A student at UPenn is getting in trouble for sexual harassment (of all things) after posting a picture of 2 other students having sex as seen thru their dorm window. Though he ought to get off, this will probably end badly for the photographer. University's are not the bastions of free speech that they purport to be.

"This is an insult to people who actually are sexually harassed," Geier said.

He also believes that there are First Amendment issues at stake, alleging that the people having sex - whose names The Daily Pennsylvanian has chosen to withhold - were engaging in a public event.

Edwin Baker, a Law professor at the University specializing in issues of free speech, said that he believes that what occurred was a public event and the photographer was therefore not out of line in taking the pictures.

Porn being shown on a college TV station. Why didn't this stuff ever happen to me when I was in school?

Police finally caught the blandly-named Foot Fetish Guy that has been prowling the University of Washington campus. He was apparently posing as a psych student and telling girls that he could tell their fortune by reading the lines on their feet. The Foot Fetish Guy has been running this scam for five years. So I guess the girls of UW can cross off 'free foot massages' as one of the perks of going to school there.

The University of Iowa is offering a porn class in the fall. The class will focus on the impact porn has had on mainstream culture. The politicians are, not suprisingly, upset.

But Iowa House Speaker Chris Rants doesn't like the idea a bit. The lawmaker said the pornography class isn't something that should be taught with taxpayer's money.

We'll remember that the next time a government body holds hearings on porn and orders a study into porn. Because government money is never spent evaluating the impact of porn - nope, not ever.

Dr. Sharon Abbott, a sociology professor at Fairfield University, is encouraging students (particularly women) to watch porn as a way to get new sexual ideas and as a 'learning experience'. Why did I never have a professor in college that thought porn was a valid study tool?

The Independent has discovered that college campuses are a hotbed of sex and pornography (who would have ever guessed). What I find funny is that they try to use that obvious fact to make the point that American college campuses aren't "bastions of political correctness". Please. Until Ann Coulter and William Kristol can speak on campuses and not get food thrown at them, I think I'll hold off declaring PC dead.

A frat house out in California is in trouble for hosting a Shane's World 'College Invasion' porn DVD shoot.

The film, featuring the members of Chico State's Phi Kappa Tau chapter, was shot in October 2004 at the students' off-campus frat house for the adult film production company Shane's World. The national chapter of the Greek organization also suspended the school chapter and is currently investigating the situation further, according to The Associated Press.

Please. Somebody needs to start a frat that encourages porn parties in their houses. They'd get a huge membership.

A student at the University of California, San Diego, used the university's closed circuit television station to show some home-made porn. Suprisingly, the university itself is not taking a position on the issue:

School administrators are staying out of the fight, saying it's up to the student government to determine if York and the station violated any rules.
